1:4 SCALE MODEL CAR

Hand-built from scratch, using a full metal body combined with other materials to replicate each section and part from the actual life size car. To date 600 hours were spent on the build from start to finish.

Limited number of 3 ‘La Voiture Noire’ models to be produced.

Most of the car followed the same process as a real car. Ranging from body work to painting, from the elegant exterior to the stylish interior! Engine and gearbox made from bits and pieces to look the part of a genuine 8 Cylinder Bugatti engine. Complete with sparkplug leads, electrical wiring, propshaft, fan pulleys & rubber belt (not running). Wooden wheels are hand painted and turned on a lathe. The spare wheel is sunk into the rear end of the body. A solid wood dash facia incorporates small metal bits to replicate different components and switches. Doors are able to open all round. Six exhaust tailpipes, lights on the front and rear, wire grill, mesh bonnet sides, brake lines, axles, petrol tank…and so much more!!!
